5 LAYER TUNNEL

In licorice production, maintaining the product’s temperature and humidity is crucial. Since the product is packaged directly without any holding period, ensuring the proper conditions is essential. Failure to do so can result in undesirable effects on the product’s shelf life and structural form.

This tunnel serves as the primary tunnel. It is used to ensure the product reaches the desired humidity and temperature before it is coated with sugar. KUTZER places a strong emphasis on the insulation of these tunnels.

The tunnel features 8 glass intervention doors for accessing the product.
Central and dehumidification units are mounted on top of the tunnels to avoid occupying floor space.
It is a single-layer tunnel with a 840 mm wide non-stick conveyor.
The interior is easy to clean, and water is easily drained.
Separate entrances are available for both the 1st and 5th levels to facilitate product entry.
